DAY ONE;
After a long walk from Les Halles to Bastille, thirsty and tired….

Stop for a while try to get some mercy and pennies

Reach Bastille, we are close, the heart pumping….

Finally we found the first address of two Skate Shops in Paris, the Snow Beach,
It was Sunday….
And its closed. What a big dissapointment

DAY TWO, MONDAY:
Heading for the next address, nozbone….
We walk for about half an hour from Bastille Metro Station. The shop will only open at 2pm, so we should wait for another two and a half hours, together with the Young Paris Skaters

SUPRA finally in hand, mission accomplished!

Arc de Triomphe, also known as the “Place de l’Étoile”. Bigger than I imagine, so grand.

Amazed by The Avenue des Champs-Élysées

The next morning, sunbathing while studying Paris map infront of the hotel.
More traffics up in the sky, rather than the road under..

the fabulous Boat house, so quiet yet so serene on reflecting river..
Begin the journey, we started from La Défense

La Défense is a major business district for the city of Paris. With a population of 20,844[citation needed], it is centered in an oval freeway loop straddling the Hauts-de-Seine département municipalities of Nanterre, Courbevoie and Puteaux. The district is at the westernmost extremity of Paris’ 10 km long Historical Axis, which starts at the Louvre in Central Paris and continues along the Champs-Élysées, well beyond the Arc de Triomphe before culminating at La Défense. I was initially invited only for a design collaboration with Putu Aliki for Fashion Tendance ‘10 2009, later on -through out several “brainstorming meeting” together with other APPMI chapter Bali members, Ali Charisma, Eny Ming and Oka Diputra- I was ask to contribute Ideas for the overall presentation and design performance, implement it, towards the end of the show. It was fun and challenging though !
I appointed Yuni Lestari, my own Interior Designer to be in-charge and lead for this new task while Miar Kusuma will be taking care of my collaboration task with Putu Aliki. Started with Conceptual Design Briefs from each of Collaborators and a visit to The Laguna Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua Bali, we come up with a Design Lay Out of the exhibition and presentation of all collaborators as shown below, as a Grand Collaboration!!

Inspired by the riches of Themes and Ideas of the Collaborators, the aim was to emphasized each of their appearances to the most outstanding level and at the same time complimenting each others, while the background touch up by a gradation of white up to black cotton fabric covering up the ‘formal look’ existing ballroom wall, continued by series of random expanses of white, grey and black cotton fabric fulfill half portion of the ceiling .
The sequence of guest flow will be design as a motion of a harmonious journey of colour, line and shape, as well as symphony of lights…
Each of the collaborators presentation were all expected to be elevated from the floor to reflect the spirit of the Fashion tendance ‘10 2009 theme, “Legacy for the Future”.

Yoka Sara:
“Turbulance and narrowing down to the moon, and or works the other way round…..
Inspired by
an image of tooth picks, accidently taken by Iwan sastrawan in Bebek Bengil Ubud, friday afternoon, during our discussion to find our presentation theme for PechaKucha Night #1, Bali. time is running out

….I surrounded by creative energies and spirits,
from any direction
Then after, I only set the Exit Stage Left and Scenario
for them to PLAY……..”
Sing Synchronicity
Iwan Sastrawan:
“I am One of the few
I listen.. with my skin
I am the words
I can see beneath
But I can not see the end

Now we are free,
I fly higher
I whisper….
I twist and shout!
To Infinity and Beyond…..
To my invinite Pursuit!”

Noor’Jack Daniel’ zacky Mubarok:
“I am blind, only follow the path
But I learn to see, with my mind
I can hear their steps…..
I keep walking
Walk through mindfields

walk
walk
but then
I found myself, in Elysium……
I am young and never get tired!!”

Miar Kusuma:
Every little thing she does is magic..“
I soften the hard BEAT
I invent The Color

bring up senses
She Chameleon…

Yuni Lestari:

Lay your hand on me
I have no more words to express…
Adi Widiantara:

Stop; I wanna go home
take off this uniform and
leave the show….
